Our story

Landmark Planning was established in 1992, starting in Warwick, and is now based in Leicester, just off the historic New Walk.

With 34 years of experience, our core work is assessing land and buildings for their planning potential and securing approval for the most beneficial use or development. We take a negotiation-led, practical approach, working closely with clients and local authorities to resolve issues early and keep projects moving.

We’ve also received industry recognition, including the ProCon Award for Innovation in Property. We believe good planning is rarely the product of one viewpoint. The planning system is increasingly complex and fast-moving, so careful judgement and shared thinking matter. Our approach is rooted in collaboration — ideas are discussed, tested and refined to make sure every angle is considered, and risks are properly understood. That means clients benefit from the strength of a team, not just one individual.

Alongside our experienced senior planners, we are committed to developing the next generation of professionals. We invest in mentoring and supervised responsibility, helping emerging planners grow with the support of established expertise. This creates a thoughtful and resilient practice, combining experience with fresh thinking for the long term.
