Key Experience With over 30 years experience in planning, Phil has worked in both
the public and private sectors. Working in local authorities in the East
Midlands for over twenty years, Phil worked in development control
dealing with a wide range of planning applications and appeals as
well as presenting planning applications at Planning Committee
meetings. He has an in depth knowledge of all aspects of
development control, with particular experience in residential
and employment sites.

Since joining Landmark Planning in 2003 as Head of Development
Control, Phil has had a varied role in the project management of
planning applications, planning appeals, land promotion through
the development plan process as well as assessing the
development potential of a variety of development sites,
working for a range of clients from individual landowners
to national house builders. 

Phil has also been involved in more Forward Planning aspects since
joining Landmark Planning Ltd, including Urban Capacity Studies,
Living/Working Over The Shops, Representations on various plans
and site allocations for LDFs.
