Landmark Planning often organise conferences, and 2018 will represent
the 20th year in which the company has organised the Midlands 
Development Management Conference. A popular event, this provides
updates to professionals involved in the planning process. Information

Landmark Planning has been involved in training Parish Councils on
Neighbourhood Planning for a number of years. Starting in 2012 with
our appointment by Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) and
the National Association of Local Council (NALC), to deliver the
government funded ‘Supporting Communities and Neighbourhoods
in Planning Projects’; we still provide training to Parishes through the
Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire Associations of Local
Councils on this subject, Section 106 Agreements/CIL and on appeals.

In 2016, a project run by the Rural Community Council, Leicestershire
& Rutland Association of Local Councils and Landmark Planning was
nominated for a Star Councils Award for Community Planning Projects.
